ONE DAY VISIT
One day is a bit tight to visit all the spaces which form part of PALAFRUGELL+ but, if you’re well organised, it can certainly be done! We propose the following route to make the best use of your time:
A.

10.00 h - (1 h 30)
Start the day by visiting the Cap Roig Gardens when they open, at 10. At the reception, you’ll be given a map with a marked itinerary so that you can go about on your own account. Expect 1 and a half hours for this entertaining journey. In the entry of the gardens, there is a very large parking area where you can leave your car without any problem and without paying.
B.

12.00 h - (1 h 30)
After visiting the gardens, take your car and go in the direction of Llafranc. Once in Llafranc, following the indications to go up to the Cape of Sant Sebastià. After passing the overlook in front of the lighthouse, go up a few metres with your car in the direction of the Hotel el Far and to the right you’ll find a free parking lot with several spaces. From there, go up to the hermitage on foot. To the side of hermitage, you’ll find the Iberian town, which is freely visited and has explanatory panels. After visiting the town, you can visit the Watchtower with the Palafrugell+ Ticket. Go up to the top for a fantastic panoramic view. By now it’ll surely be after 13, so it’s time to eat!

17.00 h - (1 h 30)
The museum is located in an old cork factory, the most important of the industrial sector in Spain. The building, with a modernist style, has several spaces. Discover them to take a journey through the history of the world of cork. Except approximately 1:30 to do the complete visit, audiovisual included. Just next to the Cork Museum, there is a paid parking area, with entry through the Carrer Begur. In the reception of the Cork Museum, ask for access to go up to the:
E.

18.30 h - (30 min)
Located a few metres from the Cork Museum, this served to supply the water to the old factory and, as of today, it offers the best panoramic views and it is an iconic symbol of Palafrugell. A half hour visit is sufficient. When going down, you only have to take a few more steps to use the entry to the next and last space:

19.00 h - (1 h 30)
Take your time to go through the permanent exhibit and the temporary exhibits of sculptors born or residing in Catalonia. A translucent space with sculptures for all tastes.
